New North Terminal Airside “Pop-up” Prayer Area

Following Ramadan, the multi-faith prayer room in the North Terminal, located after security and close to the lounges, remains in place thanks to support from Gatwick Airport. The plan is to keep it in operation as long as passenger visits make it a popular faith venue.

On entering the departure lounge, please head towards the lounges or follow the signs. Literature, holy books, and prayer mats are provided, and there will be a separate space for women of Islamic faith to pray with the Qibla also clearly marked. Please note that there are no washing facilities available within this prayer room.
